In Minnesota, 84% of corn was in the dent stage, 6 days behind the five year average, 46% was mature and harvest was 4% complete. Minnesota corn was rated 62% good to excellent, a 1% decline from last week. Iowa corn in or beyond the dent stage was 93%, with 61% mature, 2 days ahead of average, with harvest at 5% completed. Iowa corn was rated 77% good to excellent, the same compared to last week.
Soybeans in Minnesota are 83% coloring or beyond, 3 days behind average, with 48% dropping leaves. Harvest is 7% complete. Soybeans in Minnesota were rated 66% good to excellent, the same as last week. In Iowa, soybeans were 88% coloring, 2 days ahead of average. Soybeans dropping leaves was at 59%, with harvest at 9%. Soybeans in Iowa were rated 78% good to excellent, a 1% improvement from last week.
