FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers in Freeborn and Nobles counties will permanently close at 6:30pm on Wednesday, September 11th.
These centers are currently operating at the following locations in Freeborn County at Albert Lea Fire Rescue and in Nobles County at JBS Field House in Wothington, but again will close permanently on Wednesday.
Disaster Recovery Centers remain open in Blue Earth County and at the Blue Earth County Justice Center, Le Sueur County at the Waterville City Hall sand St. Louis County at the St. Louis County Public Works Training Room.
All Disaster Recovery Center Hours are Monday through Friday 9am-6:30pm, Saturday 9am-4pm and closed Sundays.
Additional recovery centers will be opening soon in other parts of the state. For the latest locations and hours of all FEMA recovery center, visit FEMA.gov/DRC. Survivors may visit any center for assistance.
Survivors don’t need to visit a Disaster Recovery Center to apply for FEMA assistance. To apply without visiting a center, go online to DisasterAssistance.gov, download the FEMA mobile app or call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362.
