Sunday morning the Faribault County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two vehicle accident on County Road 16, at the Intersection with County Road 5. While deputies were enroute, dispatch advised that one of the vehicles had fled the scene.
When deputies arrived, they found a single vehicle and debris from the other vehicle on the scene.
The driver of the vehicle that remained at the scene, a juvenile from Winnebago, was transported United Hospital District for treatment of minor injuries.
The vehicle that fled the scene was later located in Blue Earth.
The crash remains under investigation.
