The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 14 more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and 809 new cases of the virus have been reported.
The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported for the time period, brings the total number of individuals who have tested positive up to 351,650.
The data shows there have been 5,743 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 2,240 were residents of long term care facilities.
The IDPH says 601,202 people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while 353,078 people have received the first dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.
