Local mentoring organization, Kinship of Martin County, has a new co-director.  Courtney Logwood replaced Sarah Caballero, who resigned shortly after Logwood completed training in September. MN & Iowa Farmers Take Advantage of Good Weather to Advance Harvest Progress

Minnesota had 6.4 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending October 9th, according to the USDA.  Fall harvest is well underway and so far the weather has been mostly cooperative. Fairmont Woman Hospitalized After Highway 60 Collision Tuesday Morning

A Fairmont woman was hospitalized in Rochester after a semi and an SUV collided on Highway 60 between Madelia and Lake Crystal Tuesday morning. Sioux Falls Woman Injured in 1 Vehicle Accident on I-90

The Minnesota State Patrol responded to a one vehicle accident west of Blue Earth on Interstate 90, early this morning about 4:40.  A Subaru Forester, driven by 25 year old Yezenia Schladetzky, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90, when the vehicle overcorrected, leaving the roadway and colliding with the ditch.…read more »

Faribault County Board Accepts $100,000 Grant

The Faribault County Board of Commissioners met Tuesday morning and accepted the Federal Local Assistance and Tribal Consistency Fund Grant in the amount of $100,000.
