Starting on February 1st, riders who use the Prairie Lakes Transit Bus Service will again have to pay a fare to ride the bus.
Faribault County Commissioner John Roper said the County Board made the decision this week to again charge to ride the bus starting next month.
The County had received funding to cover the cost of free rides on the buses, but that funding has ended and that led to the decision to resume charging a fare to use the Prairie Lakes Transit Services.
