Minnesota Health Officials reported on Friday 1,640 new cases of the coronavirus and 33 more deaths.
According to the Minnesota Department of Health 5,850 people have died because of the virus. A total of 3,734 of those deaths have occurred in long term care facilities.
A total of 443,562 cases have been confirmed in Minnesota Since the pandemic began. According to the state, 422,289 people no longer need to self isolate.
