The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show 8 more Iowans have died of COVID-19 and 955 new cases have been reported.
The number of new positive tests reported for the time period brings the total number of positive tests to 306,233.
The data shows there have been 4,332 deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 1,775 were residents of long term care facilities.
