The latest numbers from the Iowa Department of Public Health show one more Iowan has died from COVID-19 and 427 new cases have been reported.
The number of new positive COVID-19 tests reported on Monday, brings the total number of positive tests to 305,278. Test Iowa sites are closed on Monday because of the federal holiday.
The data shows there have been 4,324 total deaths from the coronavirus in the state so far. Of those deaths, 1,762 were residents of long term care facilities.
