Faribault County Commissioners took action Tuesday to allocate money from the CARES Act to St. Casimir’s School in Wells.
The school had just hired a new principal when the school year began and was not prepared to come to the board with funding proposals in September, when commissioners heard from other schools.
The board passed a resolution to make up to $30,000 available to St. Casmir’s School.
Commissioners also took action awarding the sale of refunded jail bonds to Northland Securities. A total of 6 bids were received for the resale of the bonds.
