B.E. Council Approves Sale of Property for Apartment Complex

The Blue Earth City Council this week gave their approval to an ordinance for the sale of the property at the corner of 14th and Moore Streets to APX Construction for the construction of a 20 unit apartment building complex.  The building will consist of 12 – 2 bedroom units and 8 – 1 bedroom units and 10 garages.

 

The Council held the first reading of an ordinance regulating chickens and honeybees.  The Council will further discuss the ordinance at their first work session in November.

 

The Monthly Municipal Liquor Store report was presented to the Council.  Sales for the month of September totaled just under $156,000.  The year to date profit at the Liquor Store, thru the month of September totaled just over $108,000.
