Another 406 Coronavirus Cases Reported in Iowa on Wednesday

Three more Iowans have died from COVID-19 and more than 400 have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.


According to the Iowa Department of Public Health’s website, there were 406 new positive test results for COVID-19 in the 24 hours between 10am Tuesday and 10am Wednesday.


Those 406 new cases push the statewide total to 43,144 and 839 Iowans have now died from COVID-19.  Of those 456 were residents of long term care facilities.


There are 246 patients hospitalized with the virus in the state, 76 of those patients are in the ICU and 32 are on ventilators.


Of those who have tested positive for COVID-19, 31,195 of them are now recovered.
