Cities across Minnesota have been forced to make changes in their day to day operations due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
In Wells, the City Council has approved a declarations declaring the city in a state of emergency due to the pandemic.
Administrator C.J. Holl said by approving the declarations, it puts the city in a position to receive state or federal funding and allows the city to activate their emergency operations plan. Holl added that the City will continue to do it’s best to make sure that essential services are still provided.
At their meeting this week, the City Council approved the closing on the sale of a property in the Wells Business Park and approved the roof repairs for the Scout House located near the Swimming Pool.
