Winnebago to Advertise for Library Director Following Schutt’s Resignation

At their meeting on Tuesday night the Winnebago City Council approved the resignation of Heidi Schutt as Library Director.  Schutt had accepted a job with the Martin County Library system.  Schutt has served the City for almost 9 years.  The Council also accepted the retirement of Kathy Johnson as Library Assistant.  Johnson had served the City for over 30 years.

The City will be advertising to fill both positions.

The Council also accepted the estimate from Eastvold/Owen/Howe Electric for work on the Library’s back room, approved several conditional use permits and approved replacing the Fire Department garage door openers at a cost of $3,800.

Council Members also accepted the resignation of Cliff Marks from the Planning Commission and approved a change order for the Northwest Street and Utility project.
