Voters Approve New School in the Maple River District By Just 10 Votes

Voters in the Maple River School District have approved a $63 million bond to build a new Pre K through Grade 12 school building.


The vote total was 1,036 votes in favor to 1,026 against.  The bond passed by just 10 votes.


This was the fourth time the District asked voters to approve bonding for building the new school.


It’s expected to take about two years to build the new building with construction expected to begin this fall.
