On Tuesday, the Faribault County Commissioners approved the year 2020 contract with CEDA to provide to the county economic development services four days a week at a cost of $72,363.
Board Members also approved the hiring of Nicholas Bleess as a full time Jailer/Dispatcher, approved the hiring of Brandi Douglas as the County’s Geographic Information Systems Coordinator and approved the lease with Human Services of Fairbault and Martin Counties for the rental of the Faribault County Courthouse Annex. The new lease begins on January 1st.
The Commissioners also continued their discussion on the budget for next year and will be holding a budget meeting this Friday at 10am to further discuss possible budget cuts for next year.
The Board also set the time and date for their next regular board meeting, it will be held on December 17th at 1pm with the County’s Truth and Taxation Hearing to be held that evening at 6pm.
