533 Drivers Arrested for DWI in MN Over the 4th of July Weekend

What was an extended 4th of July Holiday Weekend turned into bad news for some drivers in Minnesota.

From July 3rd through early Monday morning, the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety reported 533 drivers arrested for DWI.

This follows a dangerous month on Minnesota roads as State Officials reported 37 fatal crashes in June and more than 2,500 DWIs issues during the month, the most for any one month since 2012.

In Faribault County, one person was arrested for a DWI over the 4th of July Holiday Period.
