On Tuesday night the Winnebago City Council approved a three year contract with Mosquito Control of Iowa for mosquito spraying in the city. The contract covers 2019 and the next two years.
The Council also discussed and approved a pre-design study for the school in Winnebago. The study will take a couple of months to complete.
Council members also approved the hiring of lifeguards for the summer season and held a closed session for the discussion of the sale and purchase of properties in conjunction with the Northwest Street and Utility Project. The Council took no action on the properties.
The next regular meeting of the Winnebago City Council is scheduled for Tuesday, June 11th.
