Due to the warmer weather causing rapid snow melt and the recent rains, many of Faribault County’s gravel roads are in poor condition, making travel difficult.
According to Faribault County Engineer Mark Daly and other Township Officials, some county and township gravel roads are temporarily closed.
Daly added that the Public Works Department’s crews will be out in full force trying to fix and repair the roads.
Authorities are reminding drivers to drive safe, slow down and use caution when driving during these challenging conditions and never drive across roads that are flooded.
More information on the road closures are available on the County’s website.
