Reynolds Becomes First Woman Elected Governor in Iowa

Republican Kim Reynolds won her first full term as Governor on Tuesday, beating Democratic Businessman Fred Hubbell to become the first woman elected Governor in Iowa.  Reynolds became Governor in 2017 after Terry Branstad was named Ambassador to China.

 

U.S. Representative Steve King won a 9th term in Congress, representing northwest Iowa’s 4th District and Incumbent Tedd Gassman won reelection to the Iowa House in District 7.
