Crops in Faribault County Starting to Look Better

According to the latest USDA Crop Report, statewide there were 4.7 days rated suitable for fieldwork in Minnesota last week.

 

Nicky Miranowski, Director of the Faribault County FSA Office said that crop conditions in the county have improved over the past couple of weeks as there has not been as much rain and the corn is starting tassel and some soybeans are starting to bloom.

 

Minnesota’s corn crop is rated in 77 percent good to excellent condition and 75 percent of the state’s soybeans are rated in good to excellent condition.
