Monday night, the Blue Earth Council set a hearing date of September 4th for a downtown TIF Redevelopment District.
Mayor Rick Scholtes said the hearing will provide the City an opportunity to pass along information about the District and its economic development possibilities for the Three Sisters Buildings.
As part of their work session, the Council toured the Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is under construction. Scholtes said that it was nice to get a firsthand look at the new facility and see how the construction is progressing.
The Council also received the 2018 Audit Report, received an update on construction projects underway in the City and reviewed the Monthly Sales Report from the Municipal Liquor Store.
