USDA Rates MN Crops in Mostly Good to Excellent Condition

Despite scattered thunderstorms and rain shower Minnesota farmers were able to find 4.8 days suitable for fieldwork last week.

 

According to the latest USDA crop report, statewide 97 percent of Minnesota’s corn crop has emerged, 90 percent of it is rated in good to excellent condition and 87 percent of the state’s soybeans have emerged, 6 days ahead of average and 86 percent of the state’s soybeans are rated in good to excellent condition.
