Jackson Teen Arrested After Threat Against High School in February, Violates Bail

The Jackson teenager arrested for an alleged threat against Jackson County Central High School over a video game chat was in Martin County District Court on Tuesday, for violating bail.

 

Jaleel Carr was arrested last Friday for violation of his bail and on Tuesday the judge in the case raised his unconditional bail from $50,000 to $80,000.

 

Carr is not to have any contact with the victims or their immediate family and he is also not allowed to use social media of any kind.

 

Carr is accused of making a threat against Jackson County Central High School on the chat feature of a video game, which lead to his initial arrest in February.

Carr’s trial date has not been set.
