Authorities say they’re holding a Northern Iowa man suspected of killing a woman.
The Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and medics were sent around 12:50am Saturday to provide medical assistance and investigate a report of a domestic assault in Lakota. They found the body of 38 year old Krista Hesebeck at one address and the injured homicide suspect at another. He was treated and taken to jail.
Court records say 45 year old Chad Dietrick, of Lakota, is charged with first degree murder and with a related weapons count. An autopsy has been ordered.
