Munson to Face Wagner in District 23-B Special Election

It will be Republican Jeremy Munson taking on Democrat Melissa Wagner in the Special Election to fill the House Seat in District 23-B.

Munson won a special primary on Monday, defeating Scott Sanders. Munson received 54 percent of the votes to 45 percent for Sanders.

The seat became vacant after the resignation of Republican Tony Cornish following sexual harassment allegations.

Wagner won her party’s endorsement and ran unopposed in the DFL Primary.

The Special Election in District 23-B will be held on Monday, February 12th.
