A Blue Earth boy who has had a lengthy battle with cancer will be going to this years super bowl in Minneapolis. It’s all thanks to “Hyundai Hope on Wheels”, a non-profit organization that helps kids fight cancer by providing them with an experience of a life time.
The group donated two tickets to Sully McGuire after his long battle with cancer. The 12-year old has battled a type of bone cancer for over five years and had part of his leg amputated. At a recent doctor’s appointment in Rochester, his doctor asked Sully if he would like to go to the super bowl, and of course he said yes. That’s when the doctor gave him two tickets.
Sully’s Mom, Melissa, said she and her son are excited and hope the Vikings make it to the big game. Sully and his Mom will also get a ride in a limo and Go-Pro Cameras to document all the fun they will have. The videos will be posted on a number of social web sites.
