Blue Earth Council Moves Forward to Sell Lots in New Development


Last night, the Blue Earth City Council approved the price range for lots in the new housing development in the Northeast corner of the city.


Mayor Rick Scholtes said the city can now move forward with their plan to sell the lots. Scholtes added the city is looking at different options to get the price information to perspective buyers.


The council also received the annual report from Fire Chief Roger Davis. Davis said the fire department responded to 75 calls in 2017.

The council also received the annual police department report from Chief Tom Fletcher. According ot that report, the police department responded to a total of 3,981 calls last year.


The next meeting of the Blue Earth City Counci will be on Monday February 5th.
