ABC/Eric McCandless(LOS ANGELES) — Marsai Martin, the young actress who stars as Diane Johnson on ABC’s black-ish, has just landed her first major role.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Martin is set to headline the Universal comedy Little. The film, which comes from Girl’s Trip producer Will Packer and black-ish creator Kenya Barris, will also be executive produced by Regina Hall and Martin herself.
The film, which stems from Martin’s idea, follow a woman who, “gets the chance to relive the carefree life as her younger self” when adulthood becomes too much for her to manage.
Girls Trip screenwriter Tracy Oliver is set to write the script. As of yet, there is no word on additional casting.
